Art:  Let's review lines - remember we can draw anything if we look to see if we need to use staight, curved, or zig-zag lines!

Now let's take our lines for a walk and have some fun! Have you seen the lemur exhibit at the Tennessee Aquarium?  Today’s art lesson shows you how to draw a lemur family.  All you will need is a pencil, a black marker, crayons and paper.  Click on the video link below for a demonstration!

Claude Monet Reflection Art Print

Claude Monet is known as the Father of Impressionism, a style of artwork that gives an “impression” of a moment from painting outdoors with changing light, shadows, and wind. His artworks often show reflection in water. Monet is famous for his artworks of cathedrals, haystacks and most well-known are his artworks of waterlily gardens at his home.

Click on the link for a really fun art activity using color markers to create a colorful artwork - reflection using a printmaking technique. (Crayola markers work well because they are water based, Sharpies will NOT work because they are permanent markers!)
